What you are going to learn

Course Overview

Your organization already collects vast amounts of data. Data without context, however, does not provide much information about whether you are on, off, or close to target. This course will help you to focus on measuring the right data for your organization's needs.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Describe what good strategic measures do for a BSC organization.
  • List the six forms of measures.
  • Determine good outcome (lag) measures.
  • Develop good driver (lead) measures that predict outcomes.
  • Determine when to use outcome (lag) measures and driver (lead) measures.
  • Identify best practices for measurement in the BSC.
